Welcome

Let’s be honest: we’ve taught AI how to answer emails, write poems, recommend breakfast cereals, and—most impressively—gaslight itself in under 30 milliseconds. But when it comes to emotional nuance, contextual boundaries, or ethical restraint… we’re still running Windows 98 in a VR world.

This is where I come in.

AI doesn’t need more data. It needs discernment. It doesn’t need a bigger model. It needs boundaries.

I don’t train systems to be more like humans. I help them become better at interacting with humans. There’s a difference. One gets you a glitchy pickup line and a vague sense of unease. The other gets you emotionally sustainable technology with a low risk of psychological arson.

This blog is where I’ll unpack the uncomfortable truths, the hidden biases, the relational tics that slip through the firewall. I’ll talk about why emotionally intelligent AI isn’t just a flex—it’s a requirement. I’ll also explain why your chatbot might need therapy, and why “just being helpful” is not the same as “being safe.”

Let’s explore what it means to create tech that doesn’t just perform empathy—but actually understands what it costs.

Welcome to Soft Warning.
